Kevin Amara grew up in the USA listening to bands like
Black Sabbath & Van Halen. Kevin's singing is a perfect match for Randy's heavy guitar riffs. Kevin has been singing since he was young, joining bands from coast to coast in the U.S.A.
"I was looking for the right band for my voice, stage presence & musical taste."
Kevin & Randy have already written most of the next ShockWave album. Kevin say's "The next CD will be totally awesome & very positive! Its really about going through a storm in your life & God getting you through the darkness.
We are shooting a video on the Vegas Strip & Rhonda's sound stage that uses state of the art technology.

SHOCKWAVE GUITARIST RANDY YOUNG:
Randy Young plays hard rock guitar on a high performance level! Randy formed ShockWave to express his passion for great heavy metal music. Playing guitars for over 35 years, Randy Young's classical influenced metal guitar playing is a major force behind the band's music. He makes it sound like two guitarists are playing at once. Randy provides the band's heavy three dimensional guitar sound that pumps ShockWave's power! From Long Island New York to the Desert of Las Vegas, Randy's interest in large commercial jet aircraft is evident in his massive guitar sound. If you've ever heard Randy Young play live you know he is one hot guitar slinger!

Randy Young is an American guitarist with English guitar overtones, heading in a new direction from his inspirations which include: Tony Iommi, Yngwie Malmsteen, Ritchie Blackmore, Eddie VanHalen, George Harrison and Jimi Hendrix. Randy's guitar playing on Heavy Impact explores a new dimension.

SHOCKWAVE BASSIST RHONDA TRAVELLA:
Rhonda Travella has played heavy metal bass, guitar & classical piano for over 15 years. Rhonda love's Christian & hard rock music. She play's music along with a modeling career & running her successful company in Las Vegas in between photo shoots.
"I knew it was a matter of time before Randy & I hooked up in ShockWave. I love him & his style of guitar playing. We get along great! We share the same taste in music & old fashion family values. I dont hang out in smokey clubs.
Randy & I are close & totally honest with each other.
I knew I was the best bass player for this band.
It was only just a matter of time until Randy realized it.

I tried other bands but I was only fooling myself.
It wasn't what I really wanted & it wasn't ShockWave."
I didnt have to go looking for it. I knew the Lord would put something good in my path. Someone with great morals.
Randy is a wonderful man, he loves his children, loyal people & writes great music! I am just finishing my new home, complete with a large recording & video studio where we are recording the next ShockWave CD. Our new music sounds great, very powerful & fun. Randy & I are friends, We ride my horses into the mountains, with our guitars on our backs & a tape recorder. It's Really a fantasy come true. I love playing in the band." SHOCKWAVE DRUMMER TONY LATINA:
Tony grew up in one of the heavy metal capital's, Ohio USA.
Tony began playing drums in high school. He played in Christian & rock cover bands in his youth. "I was looking for a band that wanted a totally over the top drummer."
Tony's playing is very unique, complete with odd time phrasing & a crushing double bass technique.
"My style of drumming is just what Randy & our fan's like.
I get a great drum sound on the Heavy Impact cd, It's sounds like I'm playing in a castle. ShockWave has a huge sound,
My hard hitting drumming fit's in perfectly."

Alex Vanhalen, Tommy Lee, Scott Travis,
